"Call quality is still terrible"
The call quality has been really bad for me, and my calls drop almost every time. They keep making vague promises about things getting better, but nothing actually changes. It’s frustrating when you just want a normal phone call to go through without cutting out.

"I ordered a phone from fido.ca thinking..."
I ordered a phone from fido.ca thinking it would be straightforward, especially since the site made it seem like it would ship quickly. Then it just kind of sat there with no real updates, no tracking, and no helpful email explaining what was going on. One minute it felt like it was about to ship, the next it was total silence.

I ended up contacting support twice and got two different answers, which made it more frustrating because I didn’t know what to believe. The phone did eventually arrive, but it was way later than I expected and the whole process felt unnecessarily confusing. I don’t think I’d order online from them again.

"My Fido internet kept cutting in and…"
My Fido internet kept cutting in and out, and I was expecting it to turn into a whole frustrating ordeal. But the tech support person was really patient, walked through a few checks with me, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking questions. They reset something on their end and explained what I should do if it happens again. It’s been working fine since, so I’m happy with the help I got. I’m sure other customers would appreciate that kind of calm, clear support too.

"Coverage Has Been Frustrating Lately"
I’ve been with Fido for a while now, and the signal has been hit or miss. In my apartment I’m usually stuck with one bar, and sometimes my calls just drop out of nowhere. Like… why is it so complicated just to get a decent connection? It also gets worse quickly once I’m outside the city. The price is okay, but the coverage really needs some work. Lately it hasn’t been the best experience

"Upgrading my phone was such a hassle"
I tried upgrading my phone through fido.ca and it was way more confusing than it should’ve been. The financing details weren’t clear at all, then the price changed when I got to checkout and the monthly payment didn’t match what I saw at first. I ended up contacting support, but still didn’t really get a straight answer. Felt like I wasted a bunch of time for nothing. I don’t think I’ll be doing device upgrades online with them again.

"I’ve been with Fido for years, so when..."
I’ve been with Fido for years, so when my bill suddenly felt higher than it should’ve been, I figured I might as well call before getting annoyed and switching. Well, I was already a little annoyed, but anyway. I ended up talking to loyalty/retention, and after some back and forth they found me a better plan. There was definitely some waiting around, and I had to explain myself a couple times, but the rep was friendly and actually seemed like they wanted to help. It wasn’t some amazing miracle deal or anything, but it was better than what I had, so fair enough.

"Setup Was a Pain"
Getting this set up took way longer than it should have. I reached out to support hoping they could actually walk me through it, but the replies felt kind of canned, like there wasn’t a real person there. In the end, I was mostly left figuring it out on my own...

"Checkout was mostly fine"
Checkout was easy overall, just a little slow when it got to the payment step. I was kind of waiting for something to go wrong because I don’t usually trust customer service to be much help if there’s an issue, but thankfully it went through without needing to contact anyone...

"Service is fine, but the billing stresses me out"
I’ve been with fido for a while now and, like, the actual service is mostly okay. I don’t really have a huge problem with the coverage or anything. But the billing, is what gets on my nerves. A couple of times now, I’ve had discounts not show up or random extra charges appear that I wasn’t expecting. Support did fix one of them after I chatted with them, but it still took a while, and I had to explain the whole thing again, which was just kind of frustrating. So yeah, they’re not the worst company or anything, but I don’t really trust my bill anymore. I end up checking it every single month now, that’s annoying.

"Decent value, but not quite what I expected"
The plan value is decent overall, but I did feel a little misled at first. It sounded like I’d be getting more than what was actually included, so that was disappointing. Still, for the price, it’s not a bad option.

"Always Down When I Need It"
It feels like every time I actually need to use it, the service is down or not working right. On top of that, I keep getting asked to verify myself over and over again, which gets really frustrating fast. I don’t mind security, but having to repeat the same verification steps all the time makes the whole experience annoying

"Fido Data Has Been Letting Me Down"
I’ve been using Fido mobile data for a while, but lately it’s been painfully slow. Of course it always seems to happen at the worst possible time too, like when I’m trying to pull up directions, check something quickly, or watch a video while I’m out. It’ll show LTE or 5G, but it feels like old dial-up sometimes. Pages take forever to load, videos keep buffering, and even maps gets stuck. Frustrating to pay every month for data that barely works when I actually need it.

It works fine for the most part, and I don’t really have any major complaints about the actual service. I did notice a few random fees I wasn’t expecting, though, and support wasn’t super clear when I asked about them. Overall it’s decent, just wish the pricing was a bit more upfront...

"Good service, but the roaming fees sting"
I’ve been with Fido for a while and generally like them, so I didn’t think twice about using their roaming on a short trip. The service itself was mostly fine and my data worked okay, no major issues there. But wow, those daily charges add up way faster than you expect. I’m a bit torn because I’m loyal to Fido and don’t really want to switch, but it’s hard not to question it when roaming ends up feeling so expensive. Not a terrible experience, I just really wish it was cheaper.

"Really frustrating experience"
I felt like I was waiting around forever, and the whole time the staff seemed kind of annoyed that I was even asking for help. I just needed someone to fix a billing issue, which I figured wouldn’t be that complicated, but somehow nobody could really do anything about it. I left with the exact same problem I came in with, just more frustrated than before. Definitely not planning to go back.

Overall, the terms were perfectly fine and easy to understand, so I didn’t really have any major issues with that part. Everything seemed reasonable enough while I was using the service. The main thing that bothered me, though, was the cancellation process. It felt more annoying than it needed to be, with extra steps or friction that made the whole thing a bit frustrating. I wouldn’t say it was a terrible experience, but canceling definitely could have been much smoother and more straightforward

I paid my bill quickly through the app, so I guess it does what it’s supposed to do. It worked fine for me, though I’m just glad it didn’t turn into some annoying hassle.

"Managing my account is way more frustrating than it should be"
Trying to manage my account on fido has been annoying. Half the time I run into login issues, pages load strangely, or something simple like updating billing info takes forever. What makes it worse is getting inconsistent answers depending on where I look or who I ask, so I never feel totally sure what’s actually going on. It should be a lot easier than this.
